RNS, RHIAS, RHITS FOR MEDICAL DATA
ABSTRACTION
WVMI, a nationally recognized resource for healthcare quality improvement, is seeking independent contractors for medical data abstraction in the Fort Sheridan, WY area. Must be an RN with a valid license or hold current RHIA or RHIT certification and have recent clinical or HIM experience. Data abstraction experience and knowledge of HEDIS and Joint Commission hospital quality measures a plus. Computer proficiency is required.
This is stimulating, steady work with excellent pay. Most work is done from the abstractor’s home, with a visit to a medical center at least once per month. (On-site assignments will require automobile travel only. Some travel may be required outside primary area of assignment.) Access to broadband Internet (cable or DSL) is a requirement.
